We will educate young people on some of the myths that society teaches regarding relationships, like “All You Need is Love”. While LOVE is very important, the experts will tell you that you REALLY NEED TO GET TO KNOW A PERSON WELL (family background, values, ethical beliefs, religious beliefs, common interests, etc.) and the more you have in common the more likely your relationship will succeed.  It is also widely known that many couples lack the basic communication and conflict resolution skills to succeed in long term relationships.

Experts can now predict the likelihood that a marriage will succeed or fail based on such assessments like the PREPARE assessment. It is designed to evaluate a couple’s strengths and identify growth areas couples will face should they get married, which is highly recommended and extremely helpful for couples in a serious relationship.


PREPARE is a customized couple assessment, completed by a certified facilitator that identifies a couple’s strength and growth areas. It is one of the most widely used programs for premarital counseling and premarital education. Based on a couple’s assessment results, a trained facilitator provides feedback sessions in which the facilitator helps the couple discuss and understand their results.

How NOT to Marry a Jerk or Jerkette
The PICK (Premarital, Interpersonal, Choices and Knowledge) a Partner program applies the RAM to singles' romantic relationships. The program teaches two main points. First, how to pace the development of a relationship in a healthy way so that the love is blind syndrome is avoided. Second, the program teaches five areas to get to know about a partner that accurately predicts what they will be like in a long-term relationship.
